As mentioned last week, the Ottawa 13s masters team is playing in Torino, Italy at the World Masters Games.

They currently have a record of two wins, one loss and one tie. They now play three cross-over games against the "recreational" side of the tournament.

Here are some details from Eric Rosenquist's Twitter feed @rosenqui:
  • Ottawa 13s game 1: 8-1 five inning win over Western Ferrals (Aus). Neil Cooke pitching.
  • Ottawa 13s game 2: win 7-2 over the Die Hards (EU). Neil Cooke wins with 1 inning of relief from Luc Thibault. Patrice Leclerc 2/3 with 3 RBI.
  • Ottawa 13s game 3: 5-2 loss to the Toronto Gators. T Martin with the win in relief of D Zack. P Leclerc with the loss. Up 2-0 then 2-2 through 4.
  • Ottawa 13s tied the Krushers (NZ) 1-1 in game 4 at the World Masters in Torino. Neil Cooke with the complete game. Patrice Leclerc with a solo HR.
